Fashion brands embrace social media

Have a look at this posting 15 Fashion Brands using Social Media in their Marketing Mix from Julian Cole. Fashion brands have , in my opinion, always been pretty late in terms of adopting new ways of marketing or advertising. But this is a good sign, no? A good tactic since our latest research on Luxury lovers clearly shows that “Luxury consumers showed a fascinating appetite for both engaging with and talking about brands online… Marketing solutions that integrated the online experience with the physical experience of the brand – and with its offline campaigns – emerged as the most successful. High creative standards and precise targeting also played vital roles, with the research revealing further insights as to the effectiveness of sound and animated sequences in connecting with luxury lovers.”

Now, can all other brands and categories please follow!
